Commander's Intent and Operations Policies

Applicability. This memorandum applies to all personnel, active or reserve, assigned or attached to Warhawk Division units and PMC groups.

Purpose. The policies listed below serve to foster a high level of soldier and contractor morale, which in turn maintains a capable and effective force.

Policies. The following policies are in effect.

1. Policy 1, Respectful Conduct. Treat all members with respect and courtesy. Avoid personal attacks, hate speech, discrimination, or any form of harassment. Maintain a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all participants.

2. Policy 2, Language and Content. Use appropriate language and content in all channels. Refrain from using offensive, explicit, or vulgar language. Do not share or promote any explicit or NSFW (Not Safe for Work) content unless it is in an authorized channel and complies with other rules set forth in this list.

3. Policy 3, Game-Specific Discussions. Stay on topic when discussing Arma Reforger or related military simulation topics. Off-topic discussions should be kept within designated channels. Avoid excessive spamming or flooding of the chat.

4. Policy 4, Discord Server Etiquette. Do not excessively mention or ping other members. Avoid unnecessary use of capital letters, excessive emojis, or excessive formatting that disrupts the readability of the chat.

5. Policy 5, Impersonation and Privacy. Do not impersonate other members or individuals. Respect the privacy of others and avoid sharing personal information without explicit consent. Report any instances of impersonation or privacy breaches to the server staff.

6. Policy 6, Advertising and Promotion. Do not promote or advertise external communities, products, or services without prior permission from the server staff. Unsolicited private messages for advertising purposes are strictly prohibited.

7. Policy 7, Integrity and Cheating. Do not engage in or promote cheating, hacking, or any form of unfair gameplay practices. Encourage fair play, sportsmanship, and adhere to the rules of Arma Reforger or any other games being discussed.

8. Policy 8, Command Staff. Follow the instructions and guidelines provided by the Command Staff. Their decisions are final in all matters concerning server administration and rule enforcement. If you have any concerns or questions, feel free to reach out to them through appropriate channels.

9. Policy 9, Multiple Accounts. Do not create or use multiple accounts to evade bans, circumvent rules, or engage in any malicious activities. Each member should have only one account on the server.

10. Policy 10, Compliance with Discord's Terms of Service. Ensure all interactions and activities on the server comply with Discord's current Terms of Service. If you come across any violations, report them to the server staff for appropriate action.

11. Policy 11, Changes to the Rules. The server staff reserves the right to update or modify these rules and guidelines as needed. Members will be notified of any significant changes, and it is their responsibility to stay up-to-date with the rules.

12. Policy 12, In-Game Immersion. Do not conflict with the current server population's style of play. For example, do not attack friendly forces unless you're running OPFOR, and do not sabotage ongoing operations unless that is part of the scenario. In other words, do not interfere with ongoing operations. Please note that this policy does not apply to uniforms.

13. Policy 13, Leadership & Professionalism. Lead by example and act as a unit ambassador. Do not abuse administrative powers. On first offense you will be counseled and on the second offense you will have your privileges revoked with the potential for role/rank reduction until trust is reestablished.

14. Policy 14, Avoid the Dunning-Kruger Effect. Do not speak as an expert if you are clearly not one. Be an active listener. Practice humility and develop your skills. Do not focus on impressing your peers, the only person you need to impress is yourself. A famous quote from Stephen Covey comes to mind: "Seek first to understand, then to be understood."

15. Policy 15, Expand and Maintain Lateral Partnerships. Develop positive relationships with related communities - it can be a positive or negative force multiplier. Do not poach external members. Do not tarnish the image of our entire community. Respect the rules of your host-community, especially if you are in their area of responsibility or operations. Healthy rivalry is encouraged but do not exceed the level of respect and trust earned...you never know who is listening.

16. Policy 16, Open Door Policy. To address concerns and conflicts that cannot be resolved through the standard chain of command, the Battalion Commander is available to discuss issues that require his personal attention. The Open Door policy is not, however, a mechanism to present matters or challenge processes where other procedures are already established and functional. Additionally, the organization will not tolerate reprisal for requesting the use of or for utilizing the Open Door policy.
